| In the past “street of the Mill-of-Saint-Pierre”, then “street Napoleon” under the Empire, the street owes its current denomination with the mint whose Louis XIV orders construction in 1685. Restored in 1772, the mint disappears definitively in 1857. |

| The restoration of the Vieux-Lille is very striking thanks to these photographs of the street of the Currency. One can see the entry of the old people's home rested by Jeanne de Flandres restored sheltering the museum of the Comtesse old people's home. |
