| The door of Ghent east one of the rare doors of Lille still upright. Inaugurated in 1625, it replaced that of Courtrai demolished in 1619. The kiosk places from Ghent marked the stopping of the tram. |

The street of Ghent |

| This street carried out towards the road of Menin, named street of Magdeleine to XIVème century. In this street were part of the ditches of the castle of Courtrai destroys in 1578. The catch of sight is made starting from the door of Ghent, one can see the street of Thionville on the right. |
