Rue Négrier |
| formerly “rue française”. Ordering the 16th military division in Lille, François Marie Casimir Negrier trader is elected appointed North in April 1848. At the time of the days of June 1848, the 25, Negrier is killed out of a ball in the head in front of the barricades. It is brought back to Lille where its funerals are organized in the Saint-Andrew church, on July 2. On October 28, 1849, a statue with its effigy is inaugurated with the roundabout of the Esplanade. After being restored then moved, it disappears definitively during the Second World war. |
