Avenue du Peuple Belge |
| (called on December 26, 1933) In the past quay of Low-Deûle. Becomes the avenue of the Belgian people when low Deûle is filled. |

Rue du Pont Neuf |
| Previously “Street of the Chanoines” then “of the Revolution”, the street becomes of the “pont-neuf” referring to the bridge of 1701 which connects the two parts of the street cut by Deûle. This bridge, built according to plans' of Vollant of Werquins, has six arches including two power stations which see running Deûle. |

Rue aux Péterinck |
| Quoted as of XIIIème century, it is during a time “street of Pestrin” or “of Pestring” before being “street in Péterinck”. The flour necessary to the hospital Countess, near, is kneaded on the spot. |

Rue Princesse |
| Called “street princess” with her opening under the reign of Louis XIV, it becomes during the Revolution, on September 30, 1793, “street of the Constitution” before taking again its original designation. |
