The street of the Purse |
| In the past street of the Market to Cheeses, took its name following the installation of this one. On with dimensions the left of the photographs one can see “the Rows of the Beautiful Glance” builds in 1690. The name comes from a hotel which had received the admiration of Philippe the Good demolished in 1651. Accomodating a store of mode and linen room on the photograph of left, it shelters a jeweller now. |

The street of Thionville |
| The street of Thionville, visible since the street of Ghent, did not change much. With time it lost its paving and its attachments, replaced by macadam and cars. But the cupola of 55m of the circular church of the Madeleine, built in 1675 on the old vault of the convents of the exposed Carmelite friars, is always well in sight. |

the Street Royale |
| This prospect for the street Royale shows us that an intense activity still reigned and reigns in this part of the city, the cars taking place more and more. One sees at the bottom of the image the bell-tower of the Saint-Andrew church crossing the years. |
