| In the past “street of Poupelier” then “of the Conception” and “the Good Girls”, it is called “street royale” at the time of the enlarging which takes place under the reign of Louis XIV, it is then prolonged towards north. On September 30, 1793, then again in 1848, the street is renamed “street Nationale”. Meanwhile, under Napoleon i, it is called “street Impériale” and takes again its current denomination only on April 15, 1814, nine days after the abdication of the emperor. |
